Hello, my name is Jim McClain. I am the owner, designer, and printer here at Bidwell Design. I founded Bidwell Design in 2007 to provide professional graphic design, branding, and printing services.

My graphic design career began in 2005 while working as a salesperson for a local microbrewery. I taught myself Corel design software to create business cards, signs, posters, event fliers, and other sales materials that the brewery needed.

From 2006 through 2009 I worked at a commercial print shop, first in bindery then as manager of the pre-press department. During my time there I gained valuable expertise in Adobe design applications and print production.

Since 2009 I have operated Bidwell Design full time from my home office in Chico, California. I invested in a Konica Minolta digital printing press and an electric paper cutter. This has given me the ability to produce high quality printing in-house, and allows me to take projects from concept to finished product without relying on outside vendors.
